Code Factory's Mobile DAISY playerCode Factory's Mobile DAISY player V2.0 Released August 8, 2008

The Mobile DAISY Player V2.0 includes support for DAISY 2.0 and 3.0 formats, allowing access to a wider variety of content and providers. It automatically unpacks Bookshare.org books, making it unnecessary to install and run a separate application just to decompress Bookshare files. Code Factory joined the DAISY Consortium in September 2008.

Activated Content .NET Audio Watermarking Library can be used to watermark your DAISY files, either for downloads or books on disc. Activated Content joined the DAISY Consortium in August 2008.

There are exciting new features and improvements in software version 2.0 which is the most comprehensive software upgrade yet released for the Stream.

Highlights of 2.0 include: new dedicated bookshelf to save downloaded podcast audio files; audible books will now be announced on its own bookshelf instead of Other Books bookshelf; support of electronic Braille (BRF) files placed on the text bookshelf; support for Rich Text Format (RTF) files on the text bookshelf; support for unprotected Windows Media Audio (WMA version 9); spell mode for text files; ability to disable key beeps and sleep messages; ...and much more.
