HOMESave as DAISY - Microsoft
Two new releases of the Microsoft Word translator add-in are planned for the next few months. The add-in works with Word XP, Word 2003, and Word 2007.
Version 1.4 of "Save As DAISY XML - Microsoft" is now available and will fix reported problems in Version 1.3, supply improved documentation, and add new features including support for MathML generation.
Version 2.0 of "Save As DAISY - Microsoft" will add audio (mp3) generation using TTS engines and will deliver a fully conforming DAISY file set. This release is planned for late 2008.

The free add-in for the "Save As DAISY XML" Translator can be downloaded here via SourceForge.net or by clicking on the Download link on the sidebar menu.
Installation Instructions:
Prior to installation, read the Instruction Manual, in particular, "Prerequisites for Installing the Open XML to DAISY XML Translator". It is recommended that you manually uninstall Version 1.3 of the add-in via the Control Panel.
The software will automatically detect the version of Microsoft Office Word used and install the appropriate add-in for the following versions of Microsoft Office Word: Word XP, 2003, and 2007.
