Recommended System Configuration
- Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista, Windows 7. Note: AMIS was not designed to run on Windows 10.
- DirectX 9 or higher
- SAPI 5.1 text-to-speech engine or higher
- Internet Explorer 7 or higher
- 50 MB disk space
- Screen Reader Support – AMIS works well with several major screen reading software packages.
- Jaws for Windows scripts are included with the installer but you can also download the scripts
- Window Eyes
- Hal and Supernova

Download AMIS in English or see our list of translations
Install
Once you have downloaded AMIS and saved it on your computer:
- double-click the installer to begin.
- proceed through the steps by clicking next.
- once installation is complete, you can run AMIS right away or find it later in a folder called AMIS in the start menu under Program Files.
