eBraille Summit at CSUN
The American Printing House for the Blind is hosting a gathering organized around our mutual efforts to create the upcoming dynamic braille standard we are currently calling eBraille, formerly referred to as eBRF.
If you are planning to attend this year’s CSUN conference in person, you are invited you to the Avalon Ballroom on the first floor of Hilton Anaheim (which is the hotel adjacent to the conference hotel) on Tuesday, March 19 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. PT for this eBraille Summit.
During this time, there will be presentations including a summary of where we are in the current development of the standard, the existing concerns raised by the group along with a brief presentation on APH’s work on the Monarch, a Dynamic Tactile Device capable of multi-line braille and tactile graphics, and how eBraille is envisioned to work on a multi-line tool such as this. There will be time for your questions and valued feedback after the presentations.
