Microsoft Word is one of the most widely used applications for originating content globally. People use Word to create all types of content from business-related documents, academic coursework at all levels, and even developing manuscripts for publication.
Over time Microsoft Word has become powerful and feature-rich tool, but the real power comes when it is used to create content that makes the most of the built-in accessibility features, enabling direct access by people with print disabilities. Accessible Word documents also unlocks the potential for materials to be easily converted to many other formats including accessible EPUB, HTML, DAISY and PDF.
