Confidently Create Accessible PowerPoint Presentations

DAISY Consortium is please to announce the availability of another instructor led online course. This short course  is for those who want to create accessible presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. After successfully completing the course, you will be able to create slide decks that are easy to use for everyone including persons with disabilities, and compliant to accessibility standards.

This course explains the best practices for creating accessible presentations, including how to take care of text size and colour contrast, provide simple and predictable reading order, describe  images, make videos and audio clips accessible and testing presentations for accessibility issues.

The course duration is 1 week only. This course is being offered in English language. Participants will need to set aside 1 to 2 hours daily for self learning, assignments and two online interactive sessions.

Training fee is  USD 100 per person. The discounted rate for low- or middle-income country is USD 50. You can also apply for sponsored seat which will be free of cost.

Interactive online session of one hour duration will be conducted on 1 and 4 October.  Interactive online sessions will be at 15 UTC.

November 5 Training Group

Interactive online session of one hour duration will be conducted on 5 and 8 November. Interactive online sessions will be at 8 UTC.
