Submitting Issues to the Issue Tracker

Reporting any bugs that you encounter is one of the simplest way to contribute to the Pipeline effort. All the project sites have dedicated issue trackers, but in most cases you will use the Pipeline 1 core bug tracker and feature request tracker hosted on SourceForge.

Development

The DAISY Pipeline 1 always welcome new contributors. Depending on what your skills or intents are, there are several ways to contribute to the project:

Report bugs

The simplest way to contribute to the Pipeline 1 effort is just to use the application and report any bug that you encounter, as detailed above.

Develop

The DAISY Pipeline 1 is open source software, released under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL).

The source code of the multiple components of the Pipeline 1 ecosystem is split between several development sites:

  • Pipeline 1 Core development site, hosted on SourceForge
  • Pipeline 1 Lite & GUI development site, hosted on SourceForge
  • PipeOnline & Pipeline WS development site, hosted on Codhesion

Localize

New localizations of all or part of the Pipeline 1 components are always warmly welcome. If you’re bilingual and willing to contribute, please contact the developers via the DAISY contact form.
