Pipeline Web Service
The goal of the Pipeline Web Service project is to develop a web service layer to drive the execution of DAISY Pipeline jobs. Such a web service would be particularly interesting for organizations that want to provide an online Pipeline service, or whose home environment is not directly compatible with the regular Pipeline Java API (e.g. in a MS .Net environment).
This prototype project was developed in January 2009 in collaboration with DAISY Member Vision Australia (Melbourne).
As usual with DAISY-developed software, the Pipeline WS code is open source and available free of charge.
