The awards are divided into 2 categories with an impressive set of finalists for each.

Italian publisher Zanichelli editore S.p.A was honored in the publisher category “for embedding accessibility into its core publishing processes, ensuring that educational materials are “born accessible” and available to all learners from the outset. “

Initiative Award Winner: Fundação Dorina Nowill para Cegos
Brazilian Fundação Dorina Nowill para Cegos won in the Initiative category for its “Dorina AI” platform, which has introduced a new approach to the creation of image descriptions. By using artificial intelligence alongside human expertise, Dorina AI has significantly increased both the speed and quality of accessible book production.
