The China Braille Press (previously China Braille Library) has consistently followed the principle of “reader first” since its establishment in 1953.
China Braille Press developed a series of six types of products, namely, Braille books and journals, DAISY talking books, large print books for the visually impaired, assistive technologies, life-aid products, and print books with characteristics. In addition, CBP has three types of non-profit services including a free braille books lending system, research on cultures for the blind, and non-profit social programs for the blind.
