Members

The Swedish DAISY Consortium is made up of 41 members, including universities, regional libraries and related organizations. MTM, Swedish Agency for Accessible Media, is a founding member of the DAISY Consortium (1996). More information is available on the Swedish DAISY Consortium website.

Swedish Agency for Accessible Media (MTM) collaborates with local libraries in order to give people with print disabilities access to literature. The object of MTM is to produce and lend talking books as well as books in Braille and E-text. Furthermore, MTM provides advice and information on matters concerning talking books and braille. MTM also has a special service directed towards print handicapped students at the university level. MTM is entirely government funded.

Since November 2000, all talking-books at MTM have been produced in DAISY format. To read more about MTM in English, visit http://www.mtm.se/english/.
