TIES—Reading Systems
Objective
The objective of the Reading System sub-group is to greatly increase the availability of reading systems that provide a rich reading experience with eyes, ears and fingers. By encouraging developers to create reading systems that provide a satisfactory reading experience to print-disabled users, and by contributing to the development of open source solutions.
Tasks In Hand
This sub-group drives the reading systems accessibility evaluation process for testing EPUB 3 reading systems for both user interface accessibility and content rendering accessibility. The testing environment is setup on EPUBTest.org.
